And it all begins

I've decided to start this blog durring the Covid-19 pandemic.  I've played wargames for 30+ years.  I've gotten my son and his friends into wargaming and RPGs.  I've decided to take the plunge back into wargaming pretty seriously.   This time around, I'm going to try and stick mostly to 1/72 (20mm) plastics.
I've already purchased some modern US army andvarious middle eastern to run Force on Force.  I've also purchased some US and VC/NVA to run Force on Force Ambush Valley.  My son has started collecting units to run Force on Force Cold War Gone Hot.  I'm also researching minis to run The Sword and The Flame (TSATF); what historical gamer hasn't played this one?  My plan is to run Sudanese and Zulu battles at first.  With the Sudanese, I also picked up 2 different  set of rules that will allow me to use gunboats with TSATF.
My plan is to update this weekly as I recieve minis and rules, assemble boats and units.  I'll skip paiting (I dislike painting and I'm not good at it).  And I will show local and convention games.  I hope you enjoy what the future brings.
